To his Excellency Major General Sir John Harvey K.C.H. and C.B. Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief of the Province of New Brunswick &c &c &c

To the Honble the President of Her Majesteys Legislative Council and the Honble the Speaker and Members of the House of Assembly

Humbly Shewith

That your Petitioner served during the Revolutionary War as the annext Certificate will show that he came to this Province with the Loyalist that he has raised family of eight Children that his Wife is still Living that he is of the age of Nintey Years and is now living upon the Affectionate Bounty of his Son that it is with much Satisfaction he has been informed that the Legislature has been Pleased to consider those who sacrificed thare all in attachment to the British Constitution and came to this then Wilderness Countery for thare Loyalty and Humbly Prays that the same Bounty may be extended to him that is to be offered to persons in his situation and as in duty Bound will ever Pray.
